Hey, Justin Credible here. This post has no relation to WHAM BAM BABES or what we do in any way whatsoever, but I don't care. I'm posting it anyways. Today, we lost a very good friend and companion and we join the thousands of people in Vancouver, Whistler and beyond mourning the death of Mike Grefner aka DJ VS Zero.
It has been a couple months since he was reported missing and all his friends and family have been working tirelessly day and night to track him down. A Facebook group was created, almost 3,000 members actively involved in the find Mike campaign. This city was plastered with flyers, search teams worked around the clock, and nothing. Then a decomposing body was found in the Alpine Meadows area of Whistler. It was confirmed by RCMP today that the remains are indeed Mike Grefner. I can't begin to explain how much this has impacted me, my friends, and cannot imagine what his family is going through right now.
Mike was honestly one of the most amazing human beings I've ever known, his music was incredible, his soul genuine. He touched so many lives and will be sorely missed. RIP Mike, as one of his friends said on our new dedication Facebook group "we may have lost an angel here on earth, but heaven has gained an angel."
Show them how to drop the beats and spread the love up there, Mike. We're all a part of you, you're a part of all of us. One love. We'll never EVER forget you.
